Ed Bauman – President/Owner
Ed has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. He originally began in carpentry straight out of high school and brings years of varied and valuable experience to Cutting Edge today. When he’s not in the office or at the job site, you can frequently find him above the clouds in his Cessna or at the family cottage in the Michigan UP. Integrity, ingenuity, and relationships with both clients and staff are all important to Ed, and he leads Cutting Edge according to these principles and values.
Brittany Shively – Office Administrator
Brittany is our Office Administrator here at Cutting Edge. She handles all administrative tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable. She is very enthusiastic and eager to grow with Cutting Edge. In her spare time, she enjoys CrossFit, running, coaching Basketball and Girls on the Run program, and being outside working in her garden.
John R Root – Estimator/ Safety Director
John is our estimator/safety director, and has been in construction for over 30 years also. He will be glad to meet all of your estimate needs as well as overseeing the safe execution of the work on your projects. He started out as an electrician, then custom cabinetry, moving on into plumbing for over 24 years before joining Cutting Edge. John enjoys spending time with family, hunting, fishing and cooking on his BBQ trailer.
